After a year long implementation process, The Bus Centre is proud to announce it has achieved Platinum Support Certification, an efficiency enhancement program offered by Thomas Built Buses. Platinum Support is focused on improving the customer experience through elevated levels of service, communication and quality of care. Through rigorous training, staff at The Bus Centre learned how to eliminate all areas of waste from day-to-day business practises, producing faster vehicle assessment, reducing vehicle downtime and lowering vehicle lifecycle costs to the customer.
It was a large endeavour that seemed daunting as first’, said Martin Unger, Platinum Support Coordinator for The Bus Centre. ‘But staff embraced the program and tackled each phase to completion. It was a great team effort and we’re really proud of this achievement. It allows us to serve our customers better’. The Bus Centre was honored at Thomas Built Bus’s Annual Dealers Meeting in Colorado this April.
