School Bus Contractors Are Special

It takes a driver to make the wheels on the school bus go round and round. In fact, many drivers and many buses. It’s a critical industry that’s easy to overlook. We expect school buses to transport our children to school and back safely every day without regard to the circumstances they may have to deal with: adverse weather conditions, energetic kids, other erratic or inattentive drivers, or having to fix an equipment problem on short notice. School bus contractors do an amazing but unheralded job to ensure the daily success of a safe and reliable trip.

The Bus Centre wanted to find a way of saying thank you to all the independent school bus contractor owners who manage the daily concerns for their smaller fleets and ensure the safe transport of students in the province of Alberta. The ‘Great Job!’ program was run during December 2019 and gave out a free $25 gift card from a choice of selected stores. Eligible contractors where encouraged to call in to claim their card. Great job serving our kids, parents, schools and province!
